My great ancestors were farmers from Poland. One of the indigenous birds that nested on the hatched roof tops of the farms were storks, thus these farmers were given the name Bocian (pronounced bo-chon), meaning stork in Polish. This website is dedicated to all the storks who are still to this day nesting on the Polish farms.
